The power of a good scene

There is something so unique about this image to me.....the light comes into play so perfectly......but, the setting of this little guy with a guitar.....I know.....my husband said it is upside down.....go figure for me!  LOL......Sometimes I fail to pay close attention to such detail when my adrenaline is flowing and my camera becomes my "drug"....ha.

This particular photo is so soothing.....it's almost as if I can hear Gene Autry himself singing a tune.......the only thing missing is a friendly campfire.....but, oh well, the sun is doing a nice job.

I wonder what song is going through this little guy's head.......probably some Elvis tune.....Aaron loves Elvis.

I tried to sing him a tune of "Jailhouse Rock" .....and shake my leg too.  But, to my dismay, he held his ears and closed his eyes.....I guess it was that bad!!! LOL!!  Oh well......can I have a pat on the back for trying????

Yours truly,

Mrs. Rogers

Ha!!! So right about the Elvis tunes.....however, I just can't seem to get that deep velvety voice ole' Elvis had......I think mine a little too high pitched for Mr. Aaron.

It's all good ....in the hood !! LOL

You are right...the lighting from the sun creates a nostalgic, almost melancholy "cowboy" feel to the photo that makes you strain to listen for the tune being played! But then, as you said, it is probably "Jailhouse Rock" or maybe "Blue Suede Shoes".... Both favorites of my cowboy!

And Mrs.Rogers, I have never heard you sing "bad"... Lol!
