I love fluffy clouds. They add so much character to the sky....not to mention drama. (Thankfully, not like human drama......lol....).
They give you the feeling that something is happening in the atmosphere or that is about to happen.....and usually, that feeling is true to the fact that a storm always has clouds involved, or snow is fixing to fall, or a cloudy day can bring relief from the hot sun by offering a covering, or rain drops are on the way....
Exodus 13:21-22 speaks the the LORD went before the children of Israel as a cloud by day.....and that He didn't remove it so they could travel.
Exodus 40:38 speaks that the "cloud of the LORD was upon the tabernacle by day, and fire was on it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys." He kept the cloud before them as a reminder.
Numbers 10:34; 14:14 Speaks of the cloud
And so on into Deut. 1:33........the cloud of the Lord goes before us.
Psalms 105: 39....for a covering...
Many instances in the bible...the cloud is a symbol of God's glory.
To me, it is a sign that He surrounds me at all times.....the clouds are the dust of His feet. That is how it came to me one day when I needed a sign that He is near. A small revelation....but, He reminded me that He is never far away and is with me.
When a cloudless day appears......I still look for one....and I eventually find one....after all,..however, a whisper of a breeze tells me He is still breathing life into me and giving me strength to carry on.
Look up.....your redemption draweth nigh.
